Welcome to ThriftyBooking. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Services"). Please read them carefully before using our platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ThriftyBooking's Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

ThriftyBooking is an online marketplace that connects users with sport venue owners to facilitate the discovery, scheduling, and payment for court and facility bookings. We act as an intermediary — we are not the owners or operators of any venue listed on the platform.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time with or without notice.

3. User Accounts

To make bookings, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@thriftybooking.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
• Not share your account credentials with any third party.

We reserve the right to disable accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Bookings and Payments

When you submit a booking request, you enter into a direct agreement with the venue provider. ThriftyBooking facilitates the transaction but is not a party to that agreement. All prices are displayed in Nepali Rupees (NPR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Payments are processed through our integrated payment gateways (eSewa, Khalti, and Cash). By completing a payment, you authorise ThriftyBooking to charge the displayed amount. Confirmation is sent to your registered email address.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the individual venue's policy, which is displayed at the time of booking. General guidelines:

• More than 24 hours before the booking: Full refund issued to the original payment method.
• Between 2–24 hours before the booking: 50% refund at the venue's discretion.
• Less than 2 hours before the booking: No refund unless the venue cancels.

If a venue cancels your booking, you will receive a full refund within 5–7 business days. Refund timelines depend on your payment provider.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use our Services to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Make fraudulent bookings, chargebacks, or misuse refund policies.
• Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or infringing content.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or its infrastructure.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data without written consent.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on ThriftyBooking — including logos, design, text, graphics, and software — is owned by or licensed to ThriftyBooking and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

User-generated content (reviews, photos) remains yours, but you grant ThriftyBooking a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and promote such content in connection with our Services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThriftyBooking and its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services or from bookings made through the platform.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to ThriftyBooking in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, outstanding booking obligations remain enforceable and surviving provisions of these Terms continue in effect.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
